On September 5^th 2011 at the Office of the provincial people’s commitee, the provincial Chairman Hoang Dan Mac hears the report on schedule of implementation of Tam Nong Sport & Eco-tourism Urban Area Project (Dream City) presented by the Steering Commitee of land clearance and compensation of the Project and Viet Han Company. Attendance at the meeting includes Mr. Ha Ke San, the member of the provincial party standing committee, Vice Chairman of the the provincial people’s commitee together with some leaders of the competent authorities.

Planning of Dream City Project:

Tam Nong Sport & Eco-tourism Urban Area Project (Dream City) is located at territory of 9 communes of Tam Nong district and Tam Thanh Forestry Company. After 4 years of the implementation, with the effort of the relevant agencies and authorities, up to now  the land clearance and other works in concern have been actively accelerated.

According to the report of the P& I Department, by August 20^th 2011, Tam Nong District Council of land clearance and compensation of the Project has conducted the inspection at 7 among 9 communes of the Project and Tam Thanh Forestry Company, total number of households already being inspected is 751, the area of inspected more than 781 ha  of 2.069 ha of the project. Up to now, the preparation of cadastral map used for enumeration, compensation and land clearance of the Project has been completed, completing the option of  resettlement area at Tho Van commune, Quang Huc commune and being submitted to the competent authorities for approval.

The project’s employer is cooperating with other agencies in concern to carry out the survey and supply of the construction material exploitation places for the project, supplying the power for the project, reaching agreement of transportation road connection in the project site to roads of the local area; completing the evaluation of the detail planning of residence areas, conducting the mine disarmament on construction site and constructing the technical infrastructure at H3 and I2 sections; signing contracts with the detail planning consultants for Golf course, the recreational & amusement park equal to Disneyland; designing the framework technical infrastructure for the project; preparing the low-rise residence project etc, and in the forthcoming time it is necessary to concentrate all resources to complete the compensation and land clearance of about 100 ha to own the location for making preparation for the commencement of infrastructure of the Golf course (estimated in October 2011).

After hearing the report of the leaders of Tam Nong district authority, Viet Han Trading – Advertising – Construction – Real Estates Company and the relevant departments, hearing the proposal for some matters relating to the schedule of implementing Tam Nong Sport & Eco-tourism Urban Area Project, Chairman of the province Mr Hoang Dan Mac comments as follows:

This project includes the diversification of the functional sections, having the biggest scope and the investment value ever to date in the territory of the province. Therefore, to start the project at the soonest time the relevant agencies and departments should closely cooperate with the employer, paying attention and taking drastic measures for the land clearance to facilitate the employer to execute the project. From now to the end of September 2011 it is necessary to finish the land clearance of 100 ha to commence the infrastructure construction of the Golf course while keeping the land clearance implementation at other favorable sections; Effectively implementing the price application, reaching agreement on land requisition and paying the compensation for the local people, obtaining the detail consensus about the location of building the resettlement area, completing asap the procedures of building the infrastructure; completing the land clearance at area of Tam Thanh Forestry Company as well as completing the procedure of handing over the clean land.

The employer must commit in detail the schedule of implementing the land clearance and compensation of the project; rapidly completing the procedures according to regulations so that the project will be commenced asap, especially the Golf course. Tam Nong district authority must maintain the strengthening of the propaganda, advocacy, explanation and persuasion so that the people will understand and supporting the project etc. For some proposals of Tam Nong district and the employer of the project, he also gave the instruction and assigning the relevant departments and agencies to consider and adopting solutions.
