Tam Nong Sport – Eco-tourism Urban Area (Dream City) project  in Phu Tho province has 2.069 ha. The total investment capital for the entire of project  to completion is USD 1,5 billion in which the cost for compensation and investment in infrastructure estimated VND 8,000 billion, the remain the investor will call for oversea and domestic investment. The site is planned for construction of a multi-function complex which is interesting investors and specialists.

On 18 Oct, 2011, The Ceremony of Public Announcement of 1/500 ratio planning and project  promotion was taken place in formal atmosphere at  Grand Plaza, Hanoi. Through this ceremony, images and information of introduction in details on Tam Nong Sport – Eco-tourism Urban Area project  (Dream City) gave organizations and individuals who concern with project  the appearance and dimension of this huge project.

Attendants as honor guests in this event are delegates, representatives of central, local agencies, departments of Tam Nong district  and Phu Tho province, communication commissions, banks, domestic and oversea partners. 

According to Mrs. Dinh Ngoc Chau Huong, General Director of Viet Han Trading - Advertising - Construction - Real Estate Co., Ltd., company has signed to cooperate with many oversea and domestic prestigious partners to proceed construction of  the most comfortable  and modern eco-tourism urban area not only in Vietnam but possibly in comparison to other countries in region and over the world. 

In the “Ceremony of Public Announcement of 1/500 ratio planning and project promotion” recently, with the witnesses of Tam Nong district, Phu Tho province, the chairman of member council of Viet Han company, the representative of the investor signed contracts and developed project  construction. Particularly, Viet Han Company signed MOU and contracts with nine units such as Line Consultancy & Construction Co., Ltd., SD Partner Design Consultancy Company, Vietnam- Czech Industry and Trading Association, ITM CORPORATION Company-Korea, Lilama SHB Investment construction  JSC, IMICO Gas Erection Investment JSC, Vietnam Construction  Consultancy Corporation, Hanoi VIP Education System, and Savills Vietnam Co., Ltd. This signing ceremonial will promote the construction  progress of project.

The items being signed are included contract of design consultancy; Contract of waste treatment in Plasma waste incinerator, solid waste and toxic waste treatment, electricity manufacture; Sewage treatment; Geographic energy; Maximization of public traffic – electrical bus supply; new constructional materials supply; Hospital construction with typical specialty such as:   early diagnosis and treatment for ulcer and sterility; clinics for the elderly; cooperation in project  management; infrastructure execution; cooperation in investment implementation, managing and doing business in schools belonging to project; contracting to implement project  marketing consultancy.

Dream City is located 10 km from Hanoi’s border,68km from centre of Hanoi,  20 km to the West from Viet Tri. The project  is located in advantages of waterway, roads, and railway. Especially, Phu Tho province is the centre of Northwest provinces. The traffic relation from project  site to Hanoi

Dream City has can be favorably linked with other projects in the region to create the largest complex of eco-tourism in the province. Developed by the model of eco-tourism, recreational variety, Dream City is built with all the items. the luxury 36-hole Golf Course (171,65 ha) is designed by SD Partner and Ingolf of Korea that designed many international golf courses. Additionally,  the racing course with 231,04 ha and a sport complex with (65,71 ha) are also designed by the prestigious designer, Korean SD Partner. The Dreamland (153,58ha) was designed by Korean Line in coordination of other experienced consultants who designed Disneyland and Everland in South of Korea. The 5-star and casino area for foreigners (116,77 ha) is divided into two isolated areas F1 and F2

 to senior systems Safari - park selling wild animals, amusement park Disneyland-class entertainment system, 5-star hotel combines fun with prizes to foreigners, the complex sports complex with modern facilities can hold major sporting events in the country ... This project  has the advantage of traffic in relation to Hanoi Capital via three roads for tourists coming from Hanoi as follows:

The first route is Thang Long Avenue, to the overpass of Son Tay- Xuan Mai intersection, turn left to Son Tay road, go ahead to Trung Ha bridge, go ahead more 10 km to Co Tiet intersection, there a road leading to project  site. This is the existing route leading to project. in 2013 Hochiminh road is expected to be opened to traffic, at that time the traffic to project  site will be more comfortable by taking Thang Long Avenue passing to Xuan Mai- Son Tay overpass intersection to Thang Long and Hochiminh road intersection turn right, go ahead more 30km to the project  site. Especially, the investor will directly widen the route of Hochiminh road crossing the project  site up to 120m width with 8 lanes for each way. After Hochiminh road is opened to traffic, this route will be 68 km long from project  site to Hanoi, taking about 45-55 mins. to travel.

The second route is National Road 32: From Hanoi take National Road 32 through Dien town, Nhon town, Duong Lam old village, Trung Ha bridge to project  site. This route is total  67km long, it takes about 50-60 mins. to travel.

The third route is Ho Tay – Ba Vi road (this route is expected in planning of Hanoi)- Son Tay road – Duong Lam old village- Trung Ha bridge – Tam Nong with the total length of about 67km, taking about 45-50 mins. to travel.

In addition, those foreign tourists, who arrived at Dream City project via Noi Bai International Airport, can travel on Trans-Asia highway that was commenced in 2010 and expected to finish in the end of 2012 with the total length of 235km, the estimated time to travel is about 45~50 mins. Particularly, thanks to the completion of Ngoc Thap bridge construction, this route is shortened and remained 9 km from project  site to Phu Tho township, Phu Tho province. This Trans- Asia will be the main for travelers in mass travel via roads from China to Dream City in the future via Lao Cai and Thanh Thuy ports of entry.

Remarkably, the project  is located on the spirit axis via Van Lang road connecting from the Hung King Temple to Xuan Son national forest with the length of 65km that is very convenient for travel.

The planned site is defined as the multi-function urban area, it is not only a common urban area, but also a sport, resort developed in ecological orientation, limiting the invasion to environment, sightseeing to minimum, maximizing the utilization of existing natural conditions, generating the balance between population size and arrangement of socio-economic activities for the stable development of environment.
